We are delighted to now be able to offer outdoor classes! For many people who weren’t able to exercise for the months of lockdown, the ability to get back to a real life class again has been really important. With this in mind, outdoor classes are suitable for everyone of all fitness levels and whether you were able to keep active for the past few months or did little or no exercise, our outdoor classes are suitable for everyone.
No equipment is necessary but we ask you to bring your own mat and resistance band if you have one (we can provide if not). Classes are 40 minutes long and include cardio and core with Tuesday classes focussing on a lower body workout and Thursday classes focussing on upper body. We have a quiet outdoor space with plenty of tree cover for any adverse weather the Irish summer throws at us!
All of our classes are designed so that you can sign up for as many classes per week as you would like, in whatever combination of virtual and outdoor suits you. Particularly at the moment, we pride ourselves in providing a supportive, friendly class environment that is sympathetic to the difficult times we have all been through recently and the inevitable impact that has had on our health and mental wellbeing.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10am
As of Monday 16th March, when our gym closed its doors due to COVID-19, we have been running regular virtual Zoom fitness classes. These classes began as a vital way for people to connect and remain active in difficult times, and we have made the decision to carry on running them now that life is starting to get back to normal.
If you are working from home, are minding small children or have health concerns around attending a “real life” class, our Zoom classes are for you! No equipment is needed and they are suitable for all fitness levels. Once you sign up, you will be added to a Whatsapp group where the class link is posted – just click on the link to join the class!
All three of the weekly classes are 40 minutes and include a full body workout using bodyweight or things you will have easy access to at home (a chair for example). Besides working each muscle group, each class has an extra focus – on Monday it’s cardio, Wednesday is core and Friday is yoga (it is Friday after all!).
We will continue to run Zoom classes beyond the re-opening of the gym because they have proved so popular!
Meredith is a fantastic trainer, very focused on the needs of her clients and always coming up with new innovative ways to keep us all motivated. During the COVID-19 lockdown, she started daily Zoom classes which have certainly got me fitter and have also done my mental health a world of good. Combined with the outdoor classes, it’s a winning combination!
Without the Zoom classes and all the support from Intelligent Fitness, I’m not sure where I would be at this moment in time.
I only started with Meredith at the beginning of Lockdown so I have only ever experienced Intelligent Fitness classes online and I couldn’t recommend them more!! A serious workout from the comfort of your own home 💪. No equipment needed so no added expense. 👍
I have never actually met Meredith in person but I couldn’t feel any more comfortable doing her class (you can always turn your camera off if you are having an off day!!). Meredith creates a very welcoming, safe and comfortable space for her online sessions 🥰👍💪.
